Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks presents DREAM: A Community Reimagining of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Full list of creative partners at chicagoshakes.com/parks_team

Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks celebrates its 10th Anniversary with a return to outdoor, in-person performances—and a reimagined summer tour!

Neighborhood artists, musicians, and dancers will be taking center stage in DREAM: a fresh spin on Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM created in collaboration with a team of actors. Carrying on the program’s community-building spirit, this FREE, fun for all ages, multilingual performance will travel to neighborhood parks and green spaces across the city.

Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks 2021 marks the launch of our new, year-round community connectivity program, deepening engagement and responding to the evolving needs of neighborhoods and partners.

Mask wearing is required for these outdoor performances. We are following the health and safety guidelines of Chicago's Night Out in the Parks program. Learn more >
